Great morning, I need to say thanks for an very cool web site about a subject I have had an interest in for quite some time now. I've been looking in and reading the responses and so only wanted to voice my many thanks for giving me some incredibly interesting reading material. I look ahead to reading more, and getting a more active part in your chats here, while picking up some expertise as well!

My hands and feet always feel cold after eating raw food, even green smoothie, especially in the morning. I'm still considering going raw, but this tissue keep me from going further more.

I add ginger and cayenne to a lot of my food, that helps keep me warm! Plus, when I blend a savory smoothie (greens plus savory fruits) to make a soup, I use warm water and blend until it's warm (without cooking it, which the Vitamix can do if you blend it too long). Just blend little by little and when it feels warm pour it into a bowl that has been warmed with warm water, and eat it!

I've often given consideration to going raw, however weighing in at less than 100 lbs, I am ALWAYS cold and love warm/hot foods. I have heard from different acupuncturist that certain spices can be warming when added to certain foods, have you found this to be true?
